[ Innovative Cyber Crimes ] - Be ware of such spam emails - Internet frauds

Over the years we have witnessed an increase in the cyber crime. As more knowledge about the inherent loop holes in the systems emerge so does the innovative style of hooligans to deceive people. Hacking has become a reality to live with. Trojans and virus attacks are becoming more fierce.I would like to share a spam email with you which would give you an idea how people generate random emails with soft wares and other techniques and then sit to catch the fish. People who are simple and new to the technology become their victim. This is especially true for people from developing countries like Pakistan and India who are still not that well versed in the world of internet.

SOPA has gotten more attention than PIPA because it was moving faster in the legislative process. But PIPA is just as dangerous, and now it is moving faster. Man Charged With Cyberstalking On Facebook

DECATUR,. (AP) A 20-year-old Decatur man has been charged with cyberstalking after police say he sent a woman cruel messages about her dead father on Facebook.

Cody Suka was freed from jail after posting 10 percent of his $5,000 bond, The (Decatur) Herald & Review reported (http://bit.ly/rrgYD6 ) on Friday. The unidentified woman told authorities she'd received 40 "vile and vulgar" Facebook messages over nearly two months about the death of her father, who was killed in a traffic accident.

Facebook Wins Court Approval To Search Ceglia's Documents

THE SOCIAL NETWORK Facebook has won court approval to gain access to computers, files and emails from Paul Ceglia, the man who claims to own 50 per cent of the company.

Ceglia has until 29 August to hand over the documents and computers, which Facebook believes will prove that Ceglia's claims to half of the company are untrue. Once they are in Facebook's possession it will have 30 days to review the materials, according to Reuters.

The court order issued by US Magistrate Judge Leslie Foschio comes after Facebook claimed that Ceglia was withholding evidence that would likely prove that the contract he claims to have relates to a street-mapping web site and makes no mention of Facebook at all.
