Europe Wants Google to Delay New Terms & Conditions
A group of EU officials, working on issues of data protection, called Working group "Article 29", has sent a letter to Google, which insists on delaying the introduction of the new Privacy Policy and Terms of the company, reported Reuters. The Regulators Group says it needs more time to consider whether the proposed changes will protect the satisfactory privacy level of the people using Google services.
A few days ago Google announced that it simplifies their Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, incorporating 60 separate documents into one, which will apply to all services of the company, including YouTube, Gmail, Google +. Along with this, the company plans to start building a profile of each user, which will collect information about its activities in different platforms.

The Commissioner, whose portfolio covered protection of personal data, Viviane Reding has approved the initiative of the Working Group "Article 29 ', commenting that it is necessary to establish EU legislation concerning personal data in consistency with the changes offered by Google. From Google expressed surprise by the increased interest and commented that they have already notified all interested parties on the changes and they have expressed significant concerns. However, the company stays open to conversations with all institutions that are concerned by the changes in their Declaration of confidentiality.

Nice effort by the writer..We still believe that Google needs to fulfil its responsibilities as international giant of internet and therefore consider laws of e-commerce and privacy of various parts of the world rather than making decisions while looking at US laws.
Well it’s not a hidden from the world that Google is a big platform but with powers comes great responsibilities as well. Google is not alone in the global power sharing on internet hence they have to play accordingly. Every update that they make mirror their tug of war with other giants like Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo and even Twitter…
Recently they returns show a very slight increase in the revenue comparing with facebook’s or even Apple’s grown rate and returns. So Google has to come up with these updates for the sake of their survival.
