Electric vehicle make Fisker Automotive said it is almost done handling the voluntary electric battery recall it initiated about two weeks ago for its Fisker Karma. The recall involved reinstalling A123-supplied battery packs that had been subject to a coolant leak issue. One reason the incident was so high-profile is that it came on the heels of an investigation into Chevrolet Volt battery safety that was launched back in November by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). That investigation is still under way.
